Description
Just a little something I made a while back in a sudden boost of inspiration when I was
supposed to be drawing the last two commissions. Oops.
Heavily inspired by the game Journey because god damn that thing is gorgeous. Not only
the scenery and soundscape and characters and story and all that pretty, but the music too.
But more than that, I wanted to draw a background because I never draw backgrounds because
I'm really not good at that, and I wanted to draw some pharaoh hound kind of a dog, and I also
wanted to draw something warm because when you live in Narnia and it's winter in Narnia it's
freaking cold and I really can't stand cold at all. Yeah. Can you guys imagine how happy I was
to see the Sun for the first time in months omg.
Yup. I also wanted to try out some style other than the more realistic one I've been practising
a lot lately, so I went with a little bit more cartoonish way... for the face. Everything else came
out the usual-me-style. Eh. I guess it would've been better with my usual style ayways. No lines
either because I really need to practise that more too.
I see so many flaws now when I look at it again, but I'll just leave it like this because editing
all my drawings after working on them for hours always has me going crazy lmao OTL I grew
pretty fond of the shading on the dawg's front though heuheu. Hope you guys like it anyway!
Not the first drawing of 2013, but the first submission of the year anyway aww yee.
Title comes from the game soundtrack's several tracks of "#th Confluence". Damn these tracks are giving me the chills.

The second I saw this it reminded me of Journey, and wow, it tuns out your inspiration was actually that game. Lovely artwork!
